Guide – How to get Living Ship
Acquire Void Egg
Find Nexus
The Nexus is one of the first place that you will see after entering the Space Anomaly. It’s the big, holographic cube with a spherical droid inside. To interact with the Nexus you need to speak to the robot. It will open the menu with a list of missions. Those missions are randomly generated.

Earn Quicksilver
Each of the Nexus’s mission has a different objective and reward. The most top mission is different from others. It is distinguished by an orange color, Quicksilver as a reward and can be completed only once a day. The Void Egg costs 3,200 Quicksilver. The special missions are awarding 250 Quicksilver so it is necessary to run 13 of them. But there are also special Weekend Event missions. They are appearing once a week, awarding 1,200 Quicksilver, but need to be played on Saturday or Sunday. That one appears even above the daily mission and can be recognized by a green color.

Now that you know which types of missions award Quicksilver, it is easy to estimate the time needed to acquire enough of it. It means that you need around one week to earn enough of Quicksilver:
- 2 x Weekend Event mission (1,200 Quicksilver each)
- 4 x daily mission (250 Quicksilver each).
Buy Void Egg
The Void Egg ist sold by Quicksilver Synthesis Companion. Speak to the strange character next to the rightmost ramp leading to the upper levels of the Space Anomaly. You need to chose the “Create exotic items from Quicksilver” dialog and then chose Void Egg from the list of goods provided by NPC.

Begin the Starbirth Quest
After you have acquired the Void Egg, you need to start the quest to hatch it. This process is quite straightforward. Just get into your ship and fly with usage of the pulse drive. Location doesn’t matter. You can start at any planet or space station. After activating the pulse drive, you will receive a message stating that your ship detected anomaly. After that, you need to stop your pulse engine to examine it. Right behind will appear a Living Ship. Answer its message from the Quick Menu. Then the conversation with the Living Ship begins the quest “Starbirth”. More exact, you need to chose option ‘Hatch the egg (1 Void Egg)‘.

After that the Void Egg will swap into an “Active Void Egg.” The egg will transform multiple times during this quest. You need to keep it all the time in your inventory until the quest ist not finished.
